Freelancer & Contractor Services Association appoints Chris Bryce as CEO

The Freelancer & Contractor Services Association (FCSA) has appointed a new chief executive as the organization aims to strengthen its influence and membership within the temporary labor market.

Rising from his previous position as CEO of the Association of Independent Professionals and Self-Employed (IPSE), Chris Bryce joins the organization with an accomplished record of excellence, growth, cultural change and influence across a range of industries. ‘complex businesses and non-profit organizations. .

Commenting on his appointment, Chris said: “I am delighted to join FCSA as the new CEO. My overall goal will be to ensure that all parties in the supply chain – particularly contractors serviced by members of the organization – can expect the highest levels of compliance, transparency and reliability from from FCSA accredited members.

“I also want to ensure that the FCSA itself continues to be synonymous with being recognized as a trusted industry partner who acts independently and with integrity.”

In his new role, Chris will work closely with FCSA members, who provide umbrella employment, CIS/independent contractor provider services, limited liability company advisory services and business support solutions to casual labor.

Chris started his career in sales, becoming a commercial manager for a corporate logistics company and then managing director. He then entered the world of outsourcing and consulting in several financial institutions, implementing several change programs on a global scale as a consultant program director.

During his tenure as CEO of IPSE, Chris also acted as Chair of the European Forum of Independent Professionals (EFIP), a collaboration of national associations across Europe which represents independent professionals at EU level through through targeted research and advocacy.
